Basics

How long is an online demo?
A demo usually lasts between 20 to 30 minutes. However, often after viewing the system, clients are excited and have questions! If you think of additional questions after a demo, it is no problem! We believe it is important when investing in software to fully understand all aspects and we welcome questions.
Can we access the system from anywhere?
Yes! FanGo is cloud-based so, providing you have an internet connection, users can access the system anytime, anywhere from any computer, tablet or mobile device.
We have a certain way of reporting. Can the reports be customised?
Customised reporting is included with FanGo Premium. To ensure the requirements of each department are met, the FanGo team will have discussions with relevant staff and reports will be tailored accordingly. All reports can be downloaded in real-time.
What’s a “ticket type”?
A “ticket type” is the specific combination of name, price and availability of a ticket. Using a variety of ticket types can generate increased demand and/or widen an event’s appeal to different audiences. For example, an event which offers "General Admission Adult", "General Child" and "VIP" has three ticket types.
Can my customers apply promo codes?
Where available, you have complete control when generating promo codes. Existing clients have explained how simple the promo code feature is for guests to apply. It is also possible to run marketing campaigns which track how promo codes are applied, enabling you to establish where best to target your advertising.
Once I give the green light, how long until I can use the software?
This depends largely on the functionality required for your system but typically, development takes three weeks. We are a proactive team and will begin work immediately upon receiving confirmation. We regularly send you links to our demonstration platform so you can monitor progress and we welcome your feedback.
Once launched, who is my point of contact?
Once launched, you will be assigned a dedicated account manager – no customer service robots here! We pride ourselves on our ability to support clients and our entire team are friendly and will welcome your calls, emails or texts. We always encourage you to contact us immediately with any queries.

Packages

Can I see the difference between packages?
Our team would be happy to discuss the packages. To best understand the capabilities of the system, we believe it is of great benefit to demonstrate either in person or online. Please Contact the FanGo team who will be more than happy to discuss this with you.
Does FanGo have a free or reduced-cost option?
Yes, FanGo Free is aimed at businesses offering events that are free yet still want to effectively manage these events. There is also a discounted package ‘FanGo For Charities’ specifically designed to support charities and their events.
Can I change my package?
Sure. You can change your package at any time. If you require a new and/or venue specific feature, please Contact the FanGo team who will be more than happy to discuss this with you.

Security & Payments

How secure is FanGo?
FanGo Ltd is GDPR compliant and registered with the ICO. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
Who processes the payments?
Stripe has been integrated within the FanGo system and provides the most secure and effective online payment service. Stripe is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider which is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
How do you keep track of payments?
FanGo provides comprehensive financial reports detailing a full breakdown of each transaction. These reports are downloadable for staff with appropriate access rights.
Can I refund a guest?
As our Clients set their own refund policies, this is entirely up to you, but you will have full control of guest refunds via the system.
Am I tied into a long contract?
No, but to discover all the benefits, we do recommend using the system for a full year. From our experience with existing clients, we are extremely confident that our systems will be a huge success, so it is unnecessary for us to ‘tie clients down’. Each system is flexible and developed to meet your exact requirements.
Is it too good to be true – are there any hidden fees?
FanGo are upfront with the fees from the very beginning. When they founded FanGo, our Directors agreed they very much disliked hidden fees, especially the sneaky fees sometimes introduced after a launch. FanGo, therefore, offers the most cost-effective pricing model and no other company can develop streamlined, bespoke systems in the way that FanGo can.
