Our founders’ experiences led them to a solution to improve events
FanGo’s founders are life-long friends with a passion for attending a wide variety of events. A theme common to many events was the outrageous length of time taken to book tickets and purchase refreshments. Another was the archaic process involved in ordering food and drinks ahead of events, requiring them to handwrite orders on paper forms and fax to the venues! Needless to say, forms often went astray and their orders were lost… These time-consuming processes not only deter customers but create unnecessary work for venues. Our founders’ experiences led them to a solution to improve events by enhancing the efficiency of both booking tickets and pre-ordering refreshments. The FanGo team specialise in events management software including ticket booking, room hire, pre-orders and pre-payment. They are designing and developing bespoke systems for clients across the UK.
From university, Greg joined a sports education provider. Initially teaching primary, he soon progressed to Senior Manager, responsible for several schools. He went on to achieve an MBA at Loughborough. Now focussed on FanGo, he believes it will not only improve customer experience but also enhance profitability and efficiency for venues.
Joe completed an Engineering Master’s degree at the University of Cambridge. He then joined Jaguar Land Rover’s Product Development Graduate Programme and was heavily involved in the development of the I-Pace – Jaguar’s first all-electric vehicle. Joe left Jaguar Land Rover in 2017 to devote all his attention to FanGo.
